Ford is lowering prices of the Mustang Mach-E by an average of $4,500 after Tesla announced similar plans for its EVs. The price cuts will vary from $600 to $5,900, and mean not all Mach-E models will be profitable on a per-unit basis, according to Ford. The company expects to offset some of the reduced profit with cost improvements, including increased production and reduced commodity costs. The Mach-E's starting price will range from $46,000 to $64,000. Ford was the second-best selling automaker of EVs in the US last year, selling more than 65,000 vehicles, while Tesla’s estimated sales were over 522,000. Who’s next for price drops?

- TravelCenters of America and Electrify America will work together to install approximately 1,000 EV chargers at 200 locations along major highways in the US over the next five years.
