Rivian in Paris

Rivian and Clearloop held a “first charge” event recently to unveil Rivian’s new Waypoints EV charging site in Paris, Tennessee. Rivian's Waypoints chargers across Tennessee will be powered by 100 percent carbon-free renewable energy. Clearloop's parent company is Silicon Ranch, which developed, owns, and operates the Paris Solar Farm project in Puryear, TN, which Rivian is using to power its charging stations. The two companies are working together to expand access to clean energy in the communities that can benefit the most, using emissionality as a metric to determine where new solar generation can displace the most carbon.
