The Future is Here: The All-New Ram 1500 Rev Unveiled

It's official! The electric pickup truck world is abuzz with the confirmation of the name for Ram's highly anticipated first entry into the electrified vehicle arena - the Ram 1500 Rev. A paragon of pithiness, the name represents a significant reduction from the original moniker of the concept vehicle, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV, which was unveiled at CES 2023.

As the electrification movement continues to gather steam, the name Rev takes on a new significance. Is it a nod to the revolution of an internal-combustion engine or is it short for Revolution, symbolizing the brand's journey towards a future of electrified pickups? The answer remains shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain - the Ram 1500 Rev is sure to be a game-changer in the pickup truck market.

With production set to commence next year, Ram has promised to spill the beans on the 1500 Rev this coming Sunday, Feb. 12. Will it be a surprise addition to the Super Bowl commercials lineup?
