1. With EV sales rising 22% year-over-year, driven by strong demand for the EV6, EV9, and Niro, Kia America achieved its best-ever February sales while continuing to expand its EV offerings and charging infrastructure.
2. The Hyundai IONIQ 6 was named the highest-ranking mass-market battery EV in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience Ownership Study, excelling in range, cost of ownership, and overall quality while surpassing the segment average by over 26 points.
3. In February 2025, a total of 31,277 vehicles were delivered by Zeekr Group, including 14,039 Zeekr brand vehicles—an 86.9% year-over-year increase—and 17,238 Lynk & Co vehicles following its acquisition, with nearly 48% being new energy vehicles.
4. At a major convention in Italy, hundreds of suppliers engaged with BYD as the company emphasized its openness to collaboration while expanding in Europe, with its first local factory in Hungary set to begin production this year.
5. EV sales grew 6% in February 2025, contributing to Hyundai's record-breaking month, with the IONIQ 5 up 22% and the IONIQ 6 up 12% as the brand continues expanding its electrified lineup.
6. Reaching 31,551 units, a new February record for Honda EV sales was driven by strong demand for the Civic Hybrid, CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and Prologue EV, while Acura's all-electric ZDX continued its momentum with over 1,000 units sold per month for the past 10 months.

Featuring Ford's patented Vapour-Injected Heat Pump technology, the E-Transit Custom, E-Tourneo Custom, and enhanced range E-Transit improve driving range in cold weather by up to 10% by efficiently heating the cabin with captured external heat, reducing battery consumption and maximizing fleet productivity.
8. A Bronze Medal at the International Design Awards was awarded to DesignStein Studios for their innovative Cone Light, while an Honorable Mention was given for the MarsCharge™ Mega, an ultra-fast EV charger with features like independent battery storage and microgrid capabilities.
9. In February 2025, 26,263 vehicles were delivered by Li Auto, marking a 29.7% year-over-year increase, while launching OTA update version 7.1 to enhance its autonomous driving and smart space systems and unveiling the exterior design of its first battery electric SUV, the Li i8.
10. Seeking to raise $5.2 billion through Hong Kong’s largest share sale since 2021, BYD aims to support its global expansion following a strong performance with a 161% surge in EV and hybrid sales last month.
11. Expanding its EV lineup, Kia is introducing the EV2, EV4, and PV5 while also developing a smaller, more affordable electric vehicle below the EV2 to drive global EV sales and attract price-conscious consumers, particularly in Europe.
