1. EVgo and Toyota have opened the first fast charging stations built through Toyota’s “Empact” vision in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California, featuring 350kW chargers to expand public EV infrastructure and support underserved communities.

6. As part of its commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, Amazon is expanding its fleet of zero-emission delivery vehicles worldwide, including electric cargo bikes, e-scooters, three-wheelers, and electric delivery vans.

7. In the first two months of 2025, over 22,800 EVs were delivered by VinFast in Vietnam, maintaining its top market position, with February sales increasing 20% month-over-month, driven by strong deliveries of the VF 3, VF 5, and VF 6 models.

11. A new company specializing in battery management and EV charging solutions, Vesco Clean Energy LLC, has launched with facilities in Grand Rapids and Saginaw, Michigan, to meet evolving energy needs through sustainable battery lifecycle services.

12. Facing financial challenges such as rising capital costs, supply chain disruptions, and shifts in market demand, Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt AB has filed for bankruptcy in Sweden, with a court-appointed trustee to oversee the process.
